Hello and welcome!
Just a quick update.....we had our 3rd Scrappy Sunday yesterday and again we all had a great time with 2 "newies" that joined us and hopefully you were made to feel very welcome. Congratulations to Kristen on winning the door prize, my new Travel Journal Kit - I can't wait to see it finished! I sometimes feel a little overwhelmed by those that come along and their generosity and friendship and this makes it all worth while. If you want Steve's Pizza's back then I won't be offended, really, they are VERY good Pizza's!
Mistra kindly donated her time and held her first Photoshop Tutorial for us "How to create a Black & White photo with a highlight in colour…" and you can download it here if you would like to learn some more about Photoshop. Nothing like sharing your creative knowledge!
I have added a "Tutorial" section to the right hand side of the front page, so if you would like to share some of your creative side and would like to submit a tutorial then please email me.
Scrap IT! 2008 looks like being a great day and I know we are all really looking forward to a day full of laughs! I might actually get to scrap....what a novelty. If you would like to join us, it's not too late. The details are at the bottom of this page.
I'm going to be running a Cybercrop in the next few weeks, I promise, once I have set some challenges and a date.....please email me if you have any ideas about what you would like included in the evening.
I think that brings everyone up to date.
Thanks and may the "creative" force be with you!
My new project kit "Travel Journal" is now available..............
Have you been on holidays or a special journey that once over was never documented? You know compiling all those memories that just seems so overwhelming? I know I do. My new Project Kit is based almost entirely on 7 Gypsies products (one of my great loves!), the quality of their products is second to none and I just love using them. It uses the new Zanzibar range of papers and co-ordinating embellishments.
My inspiration behind this “Travel Journal” is that is can be created before your journey even begins and the blanks filled in along the way – there are spots for tickets, maps, brochures, journaling and photos. Carry along a single hole punch and add them to the album as you go. Or, if you have a pile of “stuff” sitting at home from a recent trip, then this is the project for you. My step by step instructions will help you put it all together and you can always add your personal touches.
You can order them online here and at $54.95 you will have plenty of goodies included to add extra pages or create a whole new project.
Albums
Are you looking for that special gift for a birthday, wedding or anniversary? Then maybe I can help. Over the past 2 years I have been creating life story's through scrapbooking. These precious albums are normally commissioned by a family member as a gift and special care is taken to compile a unique family memento. All original photographs chosen and supplied by you are scanned and reprinted before being turned into works of art that tell a story of a lifetime. Various price structures are available. Workshops and Retreats
Teaching my craft is definitely one of my passions. I love the "buzzy" feeling students get when they finish one of my projects and their sense of achievement. Whatever level of expertise they have! I have been teaching now for about 3 years and have been repeatedly asked back to teach at the Outback Scrappin' retreat in Hyden which is held twice a year.
My home workshops are scheduled to start in a couple of weeks so if you are insterested in these then drop me an email. You won't be disappointed with the location, I promise!
I am also available to teach any of my projects in a classroom environment and you never know one day I may have my own online classroom! For project examples please visit my workshop gallery. Find out more
